Those birds are so cute and SO FAT!! Lol The questionable anthurium with the wide sinus made me think maybe Baloanum? I'm no expert though. I actually prefer birdsnest anthuriums for their easy care! But these ones looked a little rough, so I understand :) Thank you for sharing, Roos!

I find it comical they have a houseplant exhibit. I went to a nature walk by my place and the first thing I noticed were all the houseplants we sell at walmart. I wasnt sure what to think ofit but after walking the trails I didnt mindit since the trails were natural florida. I also need to keep in mind all plants that they sell did evolve in nature which makes sense considering houses didnt exist before the plants. I was just watching your costa rica video about the cloud forest where you showed a peace lily growing in nature , lol.

Thank you for a great video! I remember I had a VHS recording of a programme (probably from BBC) about when they were starting that baby up, and I always wished I could see it IRL. But as I am not a fan of crowds, I don´t think I ever will.. 🙃 Some of the plant you were wondering about: at 4:00 Grevillea , 10:45 Hymenocallis, 13.26 Tacca chantrieri. I was wondering about the low plant with waffled leaves, it appears at several times in the undergrowth, at 14.31 and 15.19. Do you, or anyone, know what it is? thank you again, and I am, of course, looking forward to the next Costa rica adventure! 😍

The best time to visit it usually over the Christmas period, there is basically no one in the domes at that time of year, which gives you the best chance to really enjoy everything 💚
