I've lived in Texas my entire 63 years.. We've had hurricanes.. Tropical Storms, wild fires, heat waves, since before I was born.. Why it's called "extreme" now is beyond my scope.. It just seems like normal stuff to me..

Right? Lived there during hurricane ike and these people swear that a trip storm in the gulf is deadly...A hurricane that forms in the Atlantic and hitting the coast as a cat 5 or higher is serious stuff.

For hurricanes, the serious part is that the truly major ones (Cat 5) are becoming frequent. You're Texans, I don't imagine you want to call a Harvey every year normal. I'm not trying to be condescending, just throwing the thought out there.

@@comradeiosif2794 we live by what we experience in live. Some people like to go by stats before being in actual places..don't be those numbers people. You have a fellow Texan saying he's been there for 63 years and a now Californian who lived in Texas for 10 years and we'll surely tell you that hurricane seasons change as does the weather. Not every season is the same but the news seems to make it look like weather is getting more extreme when it really isn't. I have another thing now that I lived in Central CA for 9 years. Its called wildfire season. I'm fishing the mountain rivers almost every weekend if not every other. The fire season comes and goes, some years extreme, some not...same thing with the droughts. We are doing pretty good right now but wildfires are expected soon. We have had an increase in fires due to utility companies and straight up liberal arson....I'm guessing for the climate change agenda. Don't be those numbers people because that ground gets tricky. The news has also used that to say it's getting more extreme I'm Texas when it clearly isn't. It's literally a tropical storm in the gulf. Texans and Floridians that live there really know more about it then a stats guy. Just putting it out there from the real perspectives because once again, numbers get tricky really quick.

Even if they don’t talk about trump I can see the storm on my radar on my phone. Half a brain tells me it’s probably rough then people film videos of it on KZbin so I can see it. When they talk about trump and politics it’s opinionated. So you get trash you don’t need most of the time. Smart people do their own investigation.

@@Bruizer61 we need 100% of trash we don't need gone off that mainstream news. Just give the people real unbiased news from the country and around the world. They put all this garbage celeb rumors and stuff to try to make up for all the Trump bashing opinions as mainstream stuff. I miss true reporting. Fake news as my fellow President Trump would say it because they literally change up the wording of the truth when we just want to see the real truth.

Why are you acting like Tropical Storms and Hurricanes don’t happen every single year? Why are you acting as if this is some sort of “new thing”? Also heat waves are very frequent as well. Back in the 70s when I was a little girl we had a heat wave in Ohio and the temperatures were over 100. Heat waves happen every year in different places on the planet….it’s normal. Maybe the Northern states should install air conditioners in every house and building that doesn’t have one…..then less people would die from the heat. I live in Florida now where it’s hot several months out of the year every year and we survive and we have air conditioning. We even have people who work hard labor out in the sun every day building roads, building houses, digging ditches and installing pipes and electrical lines and doing many other jobs out in the heat….and they aren’t dying off every day from it. Why are you news people acting like weather is “unusual”? The fear mongering is strong with this group….their tone and how they say everything is really off….but I guess when you’re trying to push an agenda this is how you act…..like you have to make it as dramatic as possible to try to convince people…..even though we have all been experiencing weather like this our whole lives.
