This is pretty much the best case scenario. Did you watch it? Or see what they’ve been saying earlier in the week. I’ll take a tropical depression over a major hurricane anytime.

Im with ya. But good news, according to Jeff Berradelli, when it drifts into the eastern gulf, temps are cool enough to rob the system of needed energy, and upper level wind shear will work against it. Cant build up enough to reorganize beyond a tropical depression. Most we might see are some breezy conditions and rainfall maybe over 2 inches, but no serious threat or impact.

NY has a lot of things to do for people on vacation, esp NYC, but even upstate has a ton of outdoor activities. Yes it was a little off-color for him to throw it in there but why do you care where people go on vacation. I went "on vacation" in my own state one time, just to get away from home and stay in a cabin w/my partner at the time. Not everyone goes to the Caribbean on an island cruise.

@YTStoleMyUsername10 сағат бұрын
Help me understand: So one hurricane was engineered and on purpose (Helene), maybe a second one (Milton?), this current *tropical storm* is just a failure on their part due to bad aim/timing? What about every other tropical storm that's formed in, say, this past year? What about the wildfires, or tornadoes - those are quite destructive and could destroy important bases? What about earthquakes and floods and blizzards? Or is hurricanes their sole specialty in controlling the weather? I'm honestly curious how you arrive at the conclusion that humans have enough control to send hurricanes anywhere but can't control the vast majority of tropical storms, or any other weather events. If not you, is there someone with the knowledge to explain the how and why behind this weather engineering system?

Words of a sadist, cheering on a worst case scenario to the detriment of his neighbors. It cant intensify, can only cool down, unravel.The significantly cooler gulf temps in the eastern gulf and upper level wind shear are significant factors working against it, as Berradelli pointed out, and fellow meteorologists have been in agreement on since the last 4 to 6 hours.
