I have recently moved states. We were not able to bring our house plants andI was crushed! We gave them all to our neighbor. So we’ve had to start our collection over again. It didn’t feel like home until we had house plants. We’ve got a few now and I know I wont stop anytime soon. Plants make a house a home. Yours are stunning. How you remember all the names I will never understand.

You have next to your peperomia in the window opuntia road kill, Consolea Rubescens if it is spineless. The white fuzzy cactus is Old Man Cactus, Cephalocereus senilis. The other smoother looking one is Stenocereus pruinosus . I had or still have many from my cactus and succulent collection that I had from years back before I got sick. I lost many I had over 800 but still have very few left.

If you put your peace lily above some water, it will flower (on top of stones in water in a dish). Or maybe put it in the bathroom. 🙏🏾💚

I have this cactus and i think it is actually the very similar "Peruvian Old Man Cactus" which has the scientific name Espostoa lanata! I could be wrong though! i haven't seen it flower yet so it's hard to perfectly classify it yet!

Beautiful plants! I am thinking about getting a white sunny Ficus Pumila. The Dracaena Lemon Lime has brilliant color in it. I believe with your excellent care, The Calathea white fusion will come around again. I've been doing a lot of research about creating humidity and some people are using indoor fountains for humidity. Thank you so much for posting the names of the plants in this video.

You might want to research attaching the pothos to your walls. My sister did that with one of hers and found when she went to remove it to paint that it had attached itself to the wall and made kind of a nasty mess.

I haven't really had an issue with them, I had a few during summer but I used a neem oil, horticultural soap and warm water mix to spray the plants and drench the soil, It got rid of them straight away

Hello again:) I've been nervous about where to place my plants in my house. Even if they are bright, indirect light plants I'm scared to put them anywhere except right near a window. I'm currently in the process of arranging my plants for the winter season and I want to spread my plants all around like you. Do you have any advice? Does the sun shine directly on your plants where you have them placed or are they just in a bright room?

It depends what plants you have. I keep the plants the like bright light on the windows or near the windows and all the others are just spread about. I mostly have calatheas which like med light, the sun does not shine on them

The plant that caught my attention was your monstera that seemed to be in the middle of the room away from windows. I just got one and have a variegated one on the way. I know it says not enough light and their leaves wont split. Too much and their leaves get scorched. So I don't really know where to put them. My other mainly bright, indirect plants are rex begonias, pothos, fittonia nerve, variegated alocasia macrorrhiza and african mask.

what causes the giant monstera to have the yellow edges?

Can be many things... lack of nitrogen, too much direct sun, pot too big and one of my other subscribers said it can be calcium deficiency. All the new leaves are coming through nice since I've had her but i think I will re-pot next spring to give her fresh soil and a slightly smaller pot as it's way too big

I got the little wooden shelf from a Summer music festival about 4 years ago, it was a little stall that made everything from Driftwood. If you Google 'Driftwood candle shelf' some similar things might pop up :-)
