This is my favorite yucca for sure. They trunk and many times grow multiple heads. They resemble palms if pruned properly. Great video.

Mine too! They're are some neat looking yuccas out there, but the pendulous leaves plus the smooth trunks makes them more appealing to me. Have seen them in the pacific northwest with such thick trunks that they almost look like ponytail "palms."

I have two of these , one is almost 4ft and the other is just over 2ft! had them both for 3 years, they look very tropical like you say. I live up in Chicago and I am growing mine indoors. Sometimes i put mine outside in the summer but you have to watch for spider mites!!! I can get geeky about this plant too.

Always a good to get geeky about our plants! They are awesome aren't they? I can see this making a nice houseplant, very graceful and lush. :)

My neighbors have a huge wide one. The flower spikes grow a few feet tall. It doesn't ever get watered. I have never seen any of the renters water it. The only water it gets is the little rain we get here which is not much. I live in zone 9b in northern California. I am amazed with how well the plant does with no care.

That sounds wonderful! I wish i had the soil and climate to grow these into big and beautiful plants without having to fuss with them. It will be worth the effort though. :)

Several different Gucci species grow like seeds here in Atlanta. Spanish bayonet is a good trunking type that can take some zone 7b 8a cold and will 8 feet tall here

Yes they do! I used to have some also and I feel like it took a couple seasons to fully remove it, oh no, it was the bulldozer from the pool construction, thats what finally got rid of it!
