While it was so long ago I don't remember being told why we trained to field strip and assemble our weapons for time I doubt I will forget the feeling of being able to do anything like it, because I had no experience with military firearms at all before bootcamp. So I went off of Zeros first time I timed it and it was roughly 15 seconds I ran this same drill with my edc gun which is a Springfield xd9sc which if you ask me a subcompact gun is a little bit harder to manipulate than a compact gun and the first time I even tried it I did it in 15 seconds exactly too because I have ran this drill hundreds and hundreds of times I dry fire and handgun manipulate at home like no other because it's hard for me to get out to the range living in California. I did it just that first time and I knew if I warmed up and did it a few more times I could of gotten into the high 13's which is probably on par with some of zeros best time on this video. I'm not bragging at all and I am not lying. I'm just saying dry fire practice and handgun manipulation practice at home does so much good for you and will make you such a better shooter.
