I don't understand why Nivarias spending thousends on hiring new workers and not using the mass rescue in the pirate cove. The cost of new hire is exponentially incising and he is pressing that button like a candymasine :)

He clicks so fast, we can't even see how much he is spending on it! Rescuing is a "free" option, too. I always build a high school in the centre of the main housing area, but I'm often struggling with costs, and education is expensive.

You can use the Pirate Cove to Loot for Nickel (with fish and tobacco). I also use the Sugar looting to supplement supply for a Rum distillery, which always seems to consume more than one or even two plantations can produce.
