Love watching these, lets not lose sight of the fact within two shots, Will moves path 6 degrees. Elite skill set and elite fitting. Great insight.

Can you share the original specs of FW and final specs of new FW. Not sure if I missed it. Looked like a Ventus shaft as well...couldnt tell if it was SIM2 Ti or Max.

I hit low cuts, this video helped me realize that swing path is something to not fight against but just trust. High draws will always elude me
@golfdoctorphd3 жыл бұрын
i played the high draw as a kid all the way to 30yrs old. about 2 years ago i switched to a cut to help back problems (cut swing is a bit easier on the back than a draw swing) and ive gone from a 3.1 to a +2.7. cuts are good, trustworthy, and you take out the left side miss. play that cut, its beautiful!
@John_Wood_2 жыл бұрын
@@golfdoctorphd did you lose much distance?
@golfdoctorphd2 жыл бұрын
@@John_Wood_ actually no, it really depends on the course. a cut will carry further and roll out a little less... the draw tends to carry a bit kess but roll out a little more. i feel like it evens out. then if you do want a low cut on a firmer course just knock the degree down on the driver. but all in all, to answer your question... no i didnt but i did gain a better feeling back which was so worth it. do you struggle with back problems?
@John_Wood_2 жыл бұрын
@@golfdoctorphd my back is fine, just looking to find more consistency, My natural (good) shot is high and straight but I have a 2 way miss. Sometimes i think I'd be better if i tried to shape the ball and the modern way seems to be with a fade

I have always thought that Korn Ferry is the silliest name ever. Anyway, we could hear the player way better this time trottie, big step up, I personally love fittings regardless of the level of player. And its evident "even" a Korn Ferry player can absolutely stripe it. I mean his speed and length has pga numbers. His swing is a bit awkward at the start but what a nice lad he was. Great content!

Will is top quality. I think early on there were a few nerves but that's natural as it's a new range & a new process & camera's rolling etc etc
@QenaitheCustodianGuard3 жыл бұрын
@@trottiegolf yeah, seems like he was aware but could not really put it into words or fix it himself, as is common for fittings. But it's great to see you guys put it all together. Great content trottie!

This is the best TTT so far. Even though I can’t relate to someone with a 125 swing speed. But how I wish to have seen him hit up on it -say- 4 degrees. Then we would really talk bombs.

Hi Trottie, great video as usual. However, I’m wondering if you can help me? I’ve had the beautiful P770’s since December, and love them, however recently due to arthritis in my hands, I had them fitted with the Bryson jumbo max jmx ultralite grips, and they have gone from sounding beautiful, to being really loud and clunky, why is that? I’m also going to change them back to some Lamkin sonar plus grips. I’ve been playing golf since I was 16, I’m now 64 and I’ve never heard anything like it. Thanks in advance if you can find the time to answer this. Take care. Melissa
@trottiegolf3 жыл бұрын
What grips did you pull off? The Lamkin's? it would be something to do with the rubber compound & how it dampens the sound. That would be my best guess..... sorry hate to guess but don't know for sure on this one.

Trottie , a lot of Ventus you are fitting , is it a super shaft for pros versus amateurs or the just best option for that guy ?
@trottiegolf3 жыл бұрын
Great shaft, huge range (which is what I like), meaning black to red, plus it's reliable & that's a big one. Tour fitting is a lot about timing & this is the first time I've worked with Will so I didn't wanna go left field.
