amazing how you hit the 52 so high and soft. Your right Parker communicates so well looking forward to the last video.

That hole-out was epic, & then you follow it up with a 52° that launches 30 feet in the air & lands right next to the pin! 🫡

Great video Trottie. Super informative and useful as always. Bunkers are probably the least practiced skill of us mortals but this gives something to go experiment with.

Agree with Trottie about Cam Smith...But the short game chef completely ignored that 😂😂😂

Hey Trottie, Cam Smith’s coach explains cam’s technique in a lesson on here if you search for Grant Field short game lesson! It’s a great watch.

Cam is more shallow even in the bunker. More of a closed face on chips, pitches and in the bunker (Steve Stricker does this). Trottie is steeper, open face, aims left (traditional). Think he wanted to try something new, but this guy only teaches the same technique he was already doing lol Trottie brought up Cam Smith's technique and short game genius just ignored what he was saying basically.

@ because he doesn’t teach that method. It doesn’t mean he’s wrong, it’s just different. I’m a believer in Cam’s method, as his coach explains - it’s the same movement for almost every shot, he simply adjusts the setup. A lot simpler than Dan Grieve’s “3 releases”, for amateurs in my opinion. P.S. Cam plays with a wide open face on a lot of his shots.

@@Longarmshortarm Bryson Dechambeau, Steve Stricker, Cam Smith, etc. Great short game players with shallow swings, limited wrist hinge even in the bunker. Trottie has a traditional swing out of the bunker, which many great short game players also have. Trottie has a steeper swing with a lot of wrist hinge. He wouldn't completely shallow it off with no hinge like Steve Stricker. But making small adjustments wouldn't hurt. Cam smith obviously has a wide open face on a lot of shots lol But he has a shut face on a lot of shots people have an open face around the greens. Steve Stricker does this too. This a long paragraph about nothing...but here we are.

@@cpm4778 Lol at your last sentence. we love golf. agreed anyway. the steep and wristy movement has a lot of moving parts that can go wrong compared to the shallow style.
