This is one of the most beautiful tanks I have seen, probably the MOST beautiful. I also have a tank that I recently started and was wondering, did you have an ugly stage, what happened during that ugly stage, and how did you overcome it? Anyways, amazing work!
@MrAquariummasterКүн бұрын
@@䙲 honestly never had a true ugly stage. Algea never been an issue with all those tangs. A way to minimize it is by using establish media, rocks and even sand

@@TheKwaikhan as long as your fish are healthy: eating and relatively stress free ich its not an issue. Also any new addition I make sure to inspect before purchasing

@@TheKwaikhan I couldn’t tell you when was the last time I faced ich or a fish parasite. But my go to is rid ich reef safe, and garlic on their food. Also making sure there’s either a cleaned shrimp or cleaner wrasse to help relief some of their irritation

@@matthewnelson5699 it’s been over 2 years since the last water change….🫣

@@MrAquariummasterthat’s exactly what I wanted to hear. You must have powerful filtration then. I’ve done no water changes in years on my freshwater tank,trying to do the same with my reef. Your tank is splendid!❤
@MrAquariummaster15 сағат бұрын
@ honestly saltwater should be easier than freshwater as long as you have a created a system that self supports. The amount of biological filtration that happens on its own out numbers that of freshwater. Your biggest filters in a reef tank is your rock and sand
@matthewnelson569911 сағат бұрын
@@MrAquariummaster so how do handle build up of algae and bryopsis? On a nano I can do water changes to get rid of nasty buildup. I use lots of rock and pads but no skimmer. Just seems like I hardly feed and still see the tank get nasty. Just was curious how I get to once a month water changes even.
@MrAquariummaster11 сағат бұрын
@ snails, hermits and fish. All those tangs keep it algea free. I used to have a nano tank too (see my old videos) and usually it’s about finding a balance. Water flow helps a lot and a blenny it’s a good idea on smaller tanks
