I grew up in San Diego area in the late 70’s/80’s. My mom was dropping me off for my first day of second grade and she said “one day, you’ll be big like the 6th graders and you won’t be worried about your first day of school.” I replied “I’ll never live to see 12 years old. I’ll be killed or kidnapped before that.” We moved to another state within months.

One hour of my night well spent. Both y'all are truly relatable. I made a mess of my military career, because I didn't appreciate the opportunities that i had at the time. I remember getting out and just being lost for a good couple years trying to fill that "what now" feeling with everything I could get my hands on. One day I came to after passing out drunk in my car and realized I can't go on like this. Today Im 11 months clean off of heroine and alcohol, I have a beautiful family, and my life has meaning. Come to find out the things I thought would break me are my greatest Blessings, so long as I stay grateful. God Bless all y'all

I’ve watched this man speak about his life several times on many interviews and what concerns me the most is that he might do something to physically hurt himself. I wonder if he’s overcome his addictions, it’s hard to watch him struggle, at least it seems like he’s struggling and these interviews may be part of a program where he has to confess to what’s happened in the past. Sure hope he makes it, he seems a bit lost and directionless.
@johnblackbasel39321 күн бұрын
Strangely, watching him from the corner of an eye, he comes across as psychologically badly hurt, (by what he experienced, or did to others? ) it's like his soul is literally separating at times. I d say, he's steadily walking on the edge, in (invisible) bad company... He comes across as highly suicidal. Is this what you mean? Respectfully.
