I have a mark 7, the only thing showing on the display is the decimal point. Can't hear any clicking. If it's left unplugged for a day or so it will power up to 12+ initially then drain to nothing in less than 30 seconds.

Thanks for the question, it probably has something wrong with one or multiple boards inside. On parmak units, I can't sell their parts, nobody is allowed to. I'm only permitted through them to work on them. The good thing is parts are fairly reasonable so fixing one isn't too bad price wise compared to a new unit. So I'd be happy to go through it and get it figured out.
