That sensor is the most common failure I have seen in the 18 and 20 ODU.... that one looked a little crooked sideways in the video when you showed where it is plugged together. It may have been fine but go back and pause the video at 6:35 if you're interested. It may have been a white tag, tape or something else tricking me but it seemed a bit sideways. Great video on the variable unit !!

$12K system $11 part. With that said, these units are great and have been mostly problem free”Knock on wood”! Just posted a short where the unit came out of the box with the suction sensor connected in the wrong spot. Have seen that a few times, just need to check it on start up.

Thermistors are the weak link. The epoxied wire end seal is not real hermetic so prefer to mount wire side down and wrap with insulative tape for good thermal isolation from surrounding air flow and keep condensation off of thermistor.

My heat not coming on or condenser fan. My blower fan is working and believe blinking 5 time which is temp sensor. I have xl15i but can’t find on the net where it’s located. I’m going to try look for same place you did. Any clue? Also if it’s 6 green light then could be valve failure from heat:cool?
