Troubleshooting Purge Unit On Trane CVHE

Checking to see if the Purge unit or Chiller is causing "Max Pumpout Rate Exceeded" alarm.

I closed my valves and my evaporator doesn’t initiate pump out. I pulled the charge and replaced txv with new filter drier. I feel like the suction sensor is bad but it reads the same as sensor when I take readings. Any help would be appreciated to point me in a different direction.

Good video. I work at a school. Our Trane Centravac shuts right off on 100 deg condensor water. We checked the strainer, good. No flow at cooling tower. I'm a boiler operator. a tech is coming tommorrow. I read at HVAC-Talk that maybe the output vanes? at the cooling tower could be plugged. I will check tommorrow and post what the tech found. Thanks for doing video, I didn't take AC in school.

The compressor was air bound. Tech finally hooked a garden hose directly to compressor. It took several hours. The pneumatic controller for the 3 way valve shunting cooling tower water and keeping it inside was also bad. He took the air off and got the rod to drop but that didn't get the flow going.

@famillia Sanchez HVAC I’m sick of manufacturers owning information on all of the chillers, and telling you what you can and can’t do, and always saying that they have to send a factory guy for a problem because they don’t want to provide tech support.
