Trout Fishing the Most Pressured River in Phoenix, AZ

Just outside of phoenix lies the salt river, which is stocked with trout almost weekly. Stocked trout can be very easy to catch, however they can be equally as hard to catch. The salt river here in AZ gets a massive amount of pressure everyday. This can cause the fish to shut off.
Pressured trout will eventually have to eat, so it is important to find out that eating window. For us this day it was much later in the morning. Sometimes it can be an hour, sometimes 30 min, and sometimes it just doesn’t happen the time your there.
Stocked trout fishing in AZ is fun no matter what, today the spacebug and trout magnet put in some work for us.

Awesome video! I was in a similar situation on the other side of the bridge last week. Caught a trout within 10 minutes of being at the river, then 3 hours with no fish. A couple people gave up, so I took their spot a bit upstream. Apparently, the feeding window opened up, because I ended up catching fish on nearly every cast for the next two hours. If they had waited maybe 15 more minutes they would have been in the money spot that day.

My biggest wild rainbow was 16 1/2 inches Im original from Maine I was fishing rather remote I'm talking camping remote it was the biggest trout anyones seen caught from that stream this was back when I was 13 years old 14 years ago now doubt you will find a wild rainbow that size anymore unless you go very remote like I did with my family or catch a stocked one I wanted to release it but my family wanted to eat it I was so upset I don't eat trout despite being original from Maine I've raised them before in fish tanks
