fantastic vids. As a kid my dad/uncle taught me fly fish in Blue ridge mnts of NC and I loved it, then work go it the way, for far to many year...I live in England and looking for some of these small English steams to fish. I have been missing one of life's true pleasures! thanks for the channel!!

Great place to fish. I fished Colliford the other day and not only heard but actually saw a cuckoo sitting on a post and then in flight. Made my week.

That's the first time I have ever heard a live cuckoo bird. That was alone worth it. What weight and length of rod are you using in this video? It could just be the camera angle but it looks like a pretty hefty rod.

The rod was a hollow build 8ft Garrison 206. So, surprisingly light for a split cane rod.
