rapala changed the treble hooks they use on those lures a few yrs back and the hooks are horrible constantly losing fish I've since replaced the hooks and much better again , there a blast to fish for trout and very productive 😉

I always put new triple hooks on my rapalas, red ones, never lose a fish

Love rapalas. I crush my barbs after twice hooking myself so badly that I had to seek professional help for their removal. Wherever you are is beautiful.

you can’t beat them , I’ve hooked my self with a mepps but the hook came out the other side and I could crush the barb and remove it reasonably easily , it’s a nice little river for sure , hope you enjoyed!
