Hi George great video on your style & take on using cdc to mix in your Dubbing witch give a great look for trapping air in the bodies of flies. Just a quick question I am tying up some Campto Chironomid & I am trying to find some DFM green wool in the right colour but I don't know what is the right colour it looks like a light green do you know the right colour or something that I could use instead mybe the Glow bright have a nice few colours that might match thanks in advance Rab C

Anything apple green should suffice. Best of luck Rab.

Wondering how much cdc you generally add.Just a little or a fair bit.I will give it a try.But i generally already use a cdc collar on most of my nymphs.I use the split thread technique .Cheers

Hi George. I stumbled on your vlog by accident. I am happy 😊 I did. Great content. Can I ask you where you got your tying lamp from. I have been looking for some thing like that. Is it magnified.
@springerspanielful2 жыл бұрын
Bought it in a shop called Machine Mart in Surrey 25 years ago.

The light magnifier looks good where do I get one of those?
@springerspanielful11 ай бұрын
Search online, best advice is to get one with a large magnifier, ie more than 8 inches diameter.

Hi George, looks like an amazing fly. Last season I only rose two trout to mayfly. Being a wheelchair user the places I can get to are very limited. Wondering do you sell those mayflies. Would love to try one.

Ahhh and I see the light in your eyes, another key ingredient…hope. I like your thoughts and I see that you have tapped into the magic God given ingredient. Not cdc. Hope. Without it we turn into compost! Thank you for the tip, the cdc, and the hope. Keep ‘em comin. Lew
