Nothing compares to fishing string when it comes to deterring birds flying!!!! I learned this while at the beach one summer. All the locals had fishing string tied up so the seagulls wouldn’t come around. I’ve been doing it ever since and something about they are scared to get caught in it??? I guess you’d have to throw fishing line all around each tree though and not sure how that would work??

that liberty with more fruit, is that on a diff rootstock than the two that didn't set much? I bet or I think rootstock changes frost tolerance

John Collins the trees should be on the same stock. But they could be different if the nursery mixed them up I suppose. It was regrafted to Liberty about 5 years ago.

@@troutfishholland I've seen so many mess ups on the nusrery end! Some places are to big for there and or our own good! Seen several rootstock mix ups b4, so that's why I say., Id guess that's the cause.

Can you do a vid on williams pride again and show the leaf structure and bark look and all that? Mabe I can tell by comparison of this is what I got. If not I undstand. But would help me greatly! What was your verdict on King David? Did it ripen early mid or late? Also was the flavor and texture good?
