Ignore the 3 Jokers recon. Go with the original Alan Moore version.

I thought Bruce Wayne was the Batman's identity, but now I find out it's Troy Bond. That's pretty cool. My neighborhood has had some crime recently so I will call you if I need help. Thanks Batman.

Oh the killing joke is so good jesus ❤ anyways essay thing I'm writing while watching this!! This is definitely a ship dynamic-I thought it was just gonna be the way they're shown in the comics... Also yeah the joker having a different backstory is canon I remember in a cartoon-Batman is aware of these different backstories as he talks to harley Quinn and says something like "Did he tell you the one with the circus? Or the one with the abusive father?" Also Gordon is probably meant to be the only person who does stay constant throughout the comics, like a rock or an anchor point making Batman batman (or being one anchor point out of a few) Joker is also aware of what he does, he felt guilt at least at the start. But slowly and steadily the guilt went away-like doing drugs. I also like how red hood is kind of a pill, idk why but I also think about it as a symbol for slowly getting addicted. Also I feel like joker isn't addicted to crimes-he's addicted to the high of the Batman trying to catch him. When Batman died in one of the comics, he completely gives up crimes. At the start maybe it was the crimes, but slowly it turned into the cat and mouse chase that Batman and joker always had. I love how different writers have different interpretations of the same character too-at least for my favourites it's very fun to try to find their point of view while writing the characters and how they feel like they'd behave in different situations! I've never watched the dark Knight (gonna watch it Tommorrow) but I suppose the parallel doesn't change many people's perspectives even though itd change mine

Are you really expecting a comedian to be a full blown conservative or something? Are you dense?
