Why people rip into Ella here idk. I mean it's clear she's taking the lower harmony to Troy early on, she's not out of tune except perhaps maybe once slightly early on. But I bit anyone ragging on her for that has probably never had to sing with a band live. There's no fucking auto-tune when you're live dudes. Probably taking the lower harmony because after so many years you can hear her voice box has been more than put through it's paces, but it's still pulling that melody cart along sweetly as you please, hitting the notes just right. A voice with character. If anything she's kinda overpowering Troy in volume, Troy's mic volume needed to be an incy bit higher, imho.
