Absolutely. The long version shows what it takes to rescue dogs like Troy. That poor baby was in so much pain, and so exhausted. It’s heart breaking. Your patience and gentleness with all the animals you rescue, is amazing. Thank you Eldad, for all that you do to help these animals have a safer, healthier, and happier life. This is one of the most moving videos I have ever watched. I was riveted. This is my third comment. I am so moved by this man's understanding of strays, empathy, kindness, and patience. It sounds like he has a great deal of experience working with and observing strays, and it seems like he has experience in social services or he is a real natural. He really understands the trauma of being a stray. I am a trauma survivor and there is a great deal of overlap between the experience of trauma in animals and people. What a lovely man.

Barbara Lee stuff online, like even these channels, make SO much better content than high production shows on tv. Animal rescue shows on tv for comparison? It's FULL of exaggerated drama. Moments are stretched out to multiple minutes while they cut from angle to angle to angle, tilting their cameras and getting close ups, acting like the most simple stuff is super intense or something. It's so annoying and American tv, unfortunately, does this way more than other shows from other countries. I seriously don't get it and you'll find it EVERYWHERE

I had a similar experience in my own neighborhood with an abandoned male Pit. Neighbors were evicted and they left Taur behind. None of us knew about it until a few months later, when a neighbor spotted Taur still there, and living in a thicket. So tired, so helpless, so afraid and hungry. I crawled under the brush (try that in AZ where everything has spikes on it!) and took him some food and water and love. He just seemed soooo sleepy from being on-guard all the time. I laid down next to him, and since he was my third rescue of the day, I went to sleep. Woke up around 3 AM with Taur standing on my chest, snarling and biting. Not at me, but at the rats that had tried to get to me (and him). The rats gave up, and Taur laid down next to me, smelly head next to me, and we both went back to sleep. Woke up at sunbreak with a rather large and raspy tongue licking my face. So Taur has a new home, and I have a new BF. Thanks Hope for Paws for the inspiration to do these things. It does truly all begin with the first rescue. I've just never been sure who is rescuing who. Dogs, in so many ways, are better than we.
