One of the best reviews on the best board game ever made (according to me). It is so professional how well you can give a comprehensive insight into this complicated game. One thing I respectfully disagree: I do feel the theme. I think designers fit this rather abstract mechanism to the theme as much as they could. Every action cards makes sense how you should use dice on them. And it is wonderful how the game comes to life by the neutral player activities.

Quite possibly. Pearl games response when I reached out to them about the issue was t great. They literally said tough shit. This is always at the back of my mind when playing this game.

Still trying to understand what the value of 4K is...in a video that consists of a talking head in a ASMR style. Some beautiful and long shots of the game with great lighting to make it pop would make this video so much more interesting and worthy of the 4K tag

Hi! I found one copy of Troyes in my local game store and also Black Ángel, and it seems a new version of Troyes. Which one do you recommend? I will go towards Troyes. Bare bones euro, wood, no fancy things. A rarity these days.

Such a dumb comment. The pronunciation was good enough. I've heard it horribly mispronounced in other reviews (pronouncing the final s for example, giving something like "tro-his", THAT is disturbing) He says it the right way with an english accent, which considering he is english can be forgiven I guess...xd. How many non native speakers have you heard pronounce "through the ages" or "Brass lancashire" perfectly?

Is the asmodee edition of the game the same like the pearl games edition?!? I buy it today with the ladies Expansion from pearl games im now not anymore sure i did all buy right now o0

First and second printings have noticeable colour differences...so long as both match then you’re good.
