H Ray right?! As much as shipping is fun I think people tend to forget they're real people dealing with real emotions. Having people dissect and analyze your dating life has to be hard. Regardless if this was written about Conner or someone I think these lyrics are a good reminder to people not to go so overboard with "shipping" that you forget that real people are affected and that while you might of had fun shipping the real person Troye was dating (whoever that was) was in deep pain.

Yeah, I'm getting my hopes up for a Troye that tries to be original and not more of the same bland radio-pop BS. But considering this song was written and produced by like 4 different people I doubt it. Seems Troye is just the pretty voice/face singing someone else's work.
@masontaylor72007 жыл бұрын
Part-Time Party Time Troye helps write the songs for one because in an interview he was talking about how it's about his latest breakup. Also, he does not sound anything like all of the stuff on the radio. His style of music is so unique with deep lyrics...
@part-timepartytime96217 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that does make him slightly better than some other pop stars but only slightly. He absolutely sounds like every other song you'd find on the radio, and it's not all that surprising. Troye has always said he wanted to be like Michael Jackson. He wants to be a famous pop star. Remember his youtube channel? Are you one of the people who thinks he just "doesn't have time" to make youtube videos? He started a youtube channel to get a following so that when he launched his music career his first album was guaranteed half a million sales _at least._ It's not a coincidence that when he started becoming known for his music that he stopped doing youtube. Everything this man has done in the past ~9 years has been to get famous. He cares about the fame and being a "somebody", not the music. Believe me, I liked him too but the writing is on the wall.

This song. Tronnor's relationship. It gave Troye the good side of things - music, world tours, Jacob. Connor received the bad side - depression, sadness. Troye moved on pretty quick, Connor still hasn't. Honestly maybe its just me but Connor seems so quiet in his newer videos. I bet Connor cried listening to this song. Just to think about this would have brought him back so many memories - of even before they started dating. Connor can't feel his touch anymore, to see the love of his life in somebody else's arms must be so crushing ! More than Troye, I feel for Connor in this song
@marian65617 жыл бұрын

Honestly, I bet even Troye was depressed after the breakup. But I get what you mean. His and Connor's breakup gave him the good side, and Connor received the bad side - he's sad and depressed w the breakup

Such a relaxing voice of his and has an amazing voice. Such an underrated artist. None of my friends never heard of him. Instead everybody knows and loves Taylor Swifts new music, Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran. Why isn't he well known a lot more?
@gildacastillo69607 жыл бұрын
SAMEEE, only my best friend & i know him out of all my school generation, which is not a small group of people, and it makes me mad because his music is just pure art, both of the lyrics AND the rythm his songs have. :(

But many celebrities recognise Troye. I bet you right now that in a couple of years, he’s going to be an A-list singer/celebrity
@niksks7 жыл бұрын
Steven Morris so same but honestly whoever he is i appreciate and respect him like a lot
@whoisaarushi7 жыл бұрын
Actually its kinda good that he is not so well known and an under appreciated artist - he maybe not known to and loved by the entire world, but we fans love him and thats what matters the most. If he gets more famous it will add more pressure on him to create more music, he might loose his appeal. The same thing happened with Ed Sheeran - I loved him until Shape of you (one of his worst songs) that got him so famous and everybody suddenly started loving him and he became so fucking overrated now, I don't like him too much anymore like I used to. I'd rather appreciate an underrated artist who my friends don't know about rather than an all over the place overrated artist

I think everyone has experienced this atleast once. Breaking up with someone, who happened to hurt more than you did. Well, both of you hurt, but somehow things were better for you. It wasn't planned, it wasn't intentional. It wasn't your fault. It's just how it happened. You feel guilty, yet you still treasure this person. You genuinely hope they would find someone who would be good to them, and wonder if someday you can be friends again.

I just graduated but three months before me and my girlfriend of 2 and a half years broke up. We started dating when we were 15 and broke up when we were 18. I didn't wanna wallow a lot so whenever I got sad thinking about her I would Workout because I wanted a good coping mechanism, she started drinking and smoking when she was sad. And even though she broke my heart, I never wanted that for her, she really is one of the kindest people the world has ever seen. I ended up losing 30lbs from all the working out and getting closer with my friends who helped me with the break up. she ended up calling me one night because she was drunk and breaking down. And all I wanted in that moment was to wash away her pain, trade roles so she would be happy. I got the good side of things I apologize.
