Just did mine it was super easy thanks to your video, the kit I bought came with a "performance spring" which was a tighter spring I reassembled everything just to realize the spring is to tight and it's pulling the stick to the right now I have to hold the stick to the left to be able to remove the keys from the ignition will be fixing that this weekend 😂

Why do you have to disconnect the battery? I've watched other KZbin videos and they showed or said anything about disconnecting the battery 1st?

Okay I'll follow the instructions begin assembly all apart and nothing was broke I also had electrical connections testing and we're okay I was told it could be the brake pedal sensor I had it tested it also was good do you have any recommendations thanks Jose Arredondo.

I ordered the part I needed and was able to pull the gear box assembly out of the pacifica. I made a huge mistake and put the key in the ignition after the gear box was out because the windows were open and it started to rain. I turned the key on to roll the power windows up and now the key is stuck in the ignition as the gear box was out of car. Than the battery went dead. I don't know what I did wrong as I replaced the part that was the problem and hooked everything back up but it still won't come out of drive and the key is still stuck in ignition.

My spring broke off with the hook it’s latched on to and couldn’t find it. If I take it off and zip tie a new spring would that work as long as there’s tension or it has to be a certain way?
