This video shows you how to install a fuel pump on your 2002-2006 Nissan Altima. Combustion engines need three things to operate: fuel, air, and spark. If your fuel pump isn’t delivering the fuel your engine needs, it will run poorly, or not at all. Or, the pump is fine, but your fuel gauge isn’t working. Many modern pumps include an integrated sending unit. Either way, a new engineered to fit fuel pump for TRQ is just what you need.
This repair was done on a 2006 Nissan Altima SE 3.5L Sedan 4-Door FWD and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2002 Nissan Altima

2004 Nissan Altima

2006 Nissan Altima

Try to purge the fuel line by removing the pump fuse and keep cranking a few times then remove negative battery cable. Safer and cleaner way.

Thanks for this however I have a question I watched a fuel filter being replaced on a 2001 and they took the fuse out first.Is that necessary for this ?Or does anyone else have any idea?

I have a 2002 and mine only had 1 feel line somebod should make a separate video also mine has a big black plastic ring that looks like it screws or taps off it may be instead of that metal or aluminum ring you tapped.Well see
