This DOES NOT apply to '07-'08 TL's. This is for '04-'06 only. '07-'08 has 1 trans mount under the battery tray & a 2nd which requires removal of the front subframe. You will find no mention/info regarding the 2nd mount on the internet whatsoever at the time of this post.

Excellent! Very thorough instruction on how to do it the right way. I have a 2004 TL and this is right on the mark. Appreciate the torque values given and tool sizes. Thanks for the video, the hardest part of any job is learning what you need in the way of tools and the technique of the removal of the item. You have shortened the upfront learning curve.

I just replaced this mount on a 2006 Acura Tl V6 and the 2 upper bolts were missing. They are M10 1.25 x 25 mm just in case someone else needs to know. Also the bottom nuts are M10 1.25 too. The head size is 14 mm on upper and lower.

Is this mount the same for both automatic and manual 04-06 tl?

could you replace the engine mounts at the same time you pull out the trans mount or should you bolt the subframe back together before loosening the engine mount bolts to replace them?
