Excellent tutorial. Performed this operation on an '08 Yukon Denali XL nearly two years ago. I'd saved the back end for last after completely rebuilding the front suspension plus the axles since we were in there. The chain repair shop's estimate was out of the ballpark. Even with the purchase of all of the components and a couple of specialized tools (36mm socket for the front wheel bearings) I saved more than half of the projected cost. My stepson helped me greatly. He had the garage tied up with two of his projects (which are _still_ in there) so he wanted to assist me to offset the garage being unavailable. We were out there at the end of December 2019 through early-January 2020. Coldest weather of the year. Took our time because on some days it was too cold to be outside past 3 PM.

Can these shocks be turned to use the shock extender for a 2 inch lift kit? So instead of the hole being left to right the hole is front to back????
@MattRockett3 жыл бұрын
Do you have a suggestion for lifting the differential if you don’t have a lift and whatever kind of jack you used?

I’m not worried about the mechanical part, it’s the technical part that I need help understanding. Do you have to use a scan tool to program something first?
