Thank you! As with any mechanical stuff, you have to give and take depending on year of vehicle. I didn't have to remove the swing arms. I just removed the bolt on motor and the 2 10mm bolts holding motor to the swing arm. Now the main thing is with anything, make sure that bolt threads are started really good before tightening them. I did, so no crossthreading. Another thing is I put my wipers right back where everything was and still ended up backwards, then a little adjustment to the middle nut on the motor that drives the swing arms and I was in business! Thank you for saving me alot of money! I did this myself in about an hour and a half total, and I know my local mechanic would have booked 2 hours @ $185 an hour. Plus cost of motor with 30% markup, new panel tabs, new wipers blades, and misc. (Cause we all charge that!) Would have been around $500 bucks. I did it with cost of motor, blades, and tabs for $150. So I saved $350 bucks. Again thank you!

Hey - great video!! One thing to note is I was having a bear of a time getting the cowl pieces to mate up correctly when reinstalling. I was able to assemble the pieces off the truck an install it coming in from the top - down along the windshield instead from from under the hood.

Only thing I’d change is instead of popping off the rods, you can remove the bolt directly above them and move over the rods together. The process is spot on otherwise.

Went to the parts store and they gave me the same motor as in the video. However, mine had a different style motor than yours with a more square harness

Excellent video, however, my 03 dodge ram 1500 4.7 has a damned trico motor, and not one damn parts store carries it in town. ABC, Autozone, Napa, or O'Reilly carries. If yours has a trico (2 mounts on the motor) you will have to order online...
