I use a heat gun to warm up the glue on the door, then press the vapor barrier against it and it reseals it perfectly each time.

I’m having a heck of a time with mine. I’ve replaced it with 2 different new ones and they behave fine while testing them by manually closing the gate. Once I put the door together and close the door, I get the door ajar behavior. I’m at a loss. Any advice

To those who wish not to be frustrated with fragile plastic parts. Inserting lock rod into round hole may result in the plastic hole breaking , made just strong enougj to function . I sanded the outside of the 90 degree bend in rod so it wasn't such a tight fit , broke one the first time

Use a straw to help you align the door lock through the hole when putting the panel pack on.

I've got a 2012 xlt 5L 4x4 f-150. D side door won't even open. Not manually, not electrically. I managed to get the panel off from inside the truck. Anyone know how to open the door??? Can't change actuator if door is closed.

I’m sure sure easy if the doors open I can’t get the door open so know what cut the door off
