Just wanted to say thanks for this video, it literally saved my family almost $3000. I looked up the reason why it was so expensive and it said that Toyota has this as a 10 hour job. Not sure why something that has to be changed between 70-150k miles was not designed to be done so more easily.

where do I find those type of locking pliers? I have never seen locking pliers with jaws like that. I followed you video but when I got to the part to remove the mounting stud for the transmission, my regular locking pliers don't fit and there is a permanent pin blocking the way.

Aren’t you supposed to load the control arm before tightening all the bolts so you do not stress the bushing?
