Love the video but why did you put the rotor retainer screw so tight 😂 you don’t even need them let alone have them on that tight 😂😂❤

Good video. Absolutely no need to impact drive rotor set screws....they aren't even necessary to have on the vehicle. Commenting to help some poor soul who will have to drill theirs out....I've had to do it twice on these cars from the east coast.

Wow! This car has a lot of rust on the suspension components. We're you up north somewhere when you did this video TRQ?

Why did you say you have to remove and reinstall the original hub race when you yourself, did not do so? I’m guessing it’s not required, thanks for the confusion.

Every reference I find shows the outer tie rod inserted from top, except this video at 10:10. Also was removed this way…

@TRQ. My daughter dropped off her 98 Accord. Says it shakes really bad when she's stopping. Since some guy drove into the side and hit the wheel, I assuming since I can see the tire wobble just a tad with the front end jacked off the ground & idling while in drive, that the wheel must be bent.But sitting here thinking about it, the problem could be a caliper brake issue.........

Hello everyone! Does anyone knows if you can replace or are compatable the 1998 accord manual trans knuckle assembly with a 2004 knuckle assambly? The only diference I see is the 2004 hub has 5 stabs and the 1998 hub 4 stabs. Thanks in advance for your help.

I replaced my cv axle and my uppper control arm my tie rod feels nice and firm on my 99 Honda Accord it’s still making a thump sound on bumps and can it possibly be the other side or wheel bearing(my other cv axle sounds bad aswell and has play but it sounds like it’s coming from the side I replaced)
@Ihavetruth222 жыл бұрын
So you need a press to remove the HUB? They arent bolted on?
@wontshutup11442 жыл бұрын
Yep... You will need a press or one of those press kits where you can press the bearing in or out while the knuckle is still attached to the car
