Tom I have been looking at this radio and wondered about being able to hear audio on your phone while using the app. Most phone Bluetooth connections only play on the Bluetooth speaker. Also, I noticed it covers the frequency range of the air band but doesn’t mention whether you can receive AM on the airband. Please keep us informed.

I am waiting to see how the cell phone app works. Thinking about it, what a potentially great way to develop a radio that only needs a power switch and everything else is done using an app. No need for a display, numerical key pad or (especially) multi function switches!
