SO you only remove the gear case to grind those sections off? Can it be done without removing the gear box?

you can do it with the case on the motor just have to be careful with grinding and cutting those parts specified in the video.

New to the scene, is stock skinny wheel 12x5? i see your'e installing onto a fatty wheel.

no thats a lot smaller its a 10" wheel and has a drum hub built in. this requires an aftermarket 12x5 or 12x8 fatty. thank you

no it will not since the stock rim is 10" and needs to be a 12"
