Quite frequently customers of ours mount their LED halos inside of the shrouds so that the vents that are designed into the shroud glow with light when the halo is on, rather than seeing a full circle from the halo as if it were mounted on the front side.

Here we go over the recommended procedure for mounting the halos inside your shrouds.
1) Check to be sure the halo diameter matches the diameter of the opening/vents in your shroud. We are glad to recommend proper sizing here.
2) Clean the interior surface of the shroud with rubbing alcohol to ensure good adhesion.
3) Line up the halo ring where you want it to sit, and kneed a couple balls of JB Steel Stik to tack the backside of the halo to the inner walls of the shroud. 2-3 balls of epoxy putty should work well.

As a tip, do all your shroud trimming & painting before this step to minimize handling after the halo is installed, as it is an electronic part, and can be sensitive. Also be sure to put the wires at the bottom, for the cleanest routing.

Was gonna run the halos on my fog lights but the wiring isn't long enough to reach my turn signal for the switchback function. Is my only option to extend the wire. If so what gauge wire, temperature rating, and voltage should I buy? Thanks

The projector doesn't dictate the halo size, the shroud does. TRS has the halo size listed for every shroud option under the "TECH SPECS" RGB halo's can be found here: www.theretrofitsource.com/profile-prism-rgb-led-universal-halos.html Shrouds can be found here: www.theretrofitsource.com/projector-kits/projector-shrouds.html

What kind of paint is safe to paint the shrouds? Running morimoto 35w HID mini d2s I don't want them to begin peeling afterwards.

Victor Gonzalez I used Krylon supermaxx Flat Black, it's been two years and no peeling. I'm running a h1 projector with a 55w ballast.

+The Retrofit Source Inc Ok so exactly what shrouds are these? I purchased the apollo 2.0 shrouds and bought the 100mm RBG halos but they are 2 small. Now I'm going through the hassel resending back an forth. Now waiting for the 110mm RBG which are on back order......
