The jews had to pay waaaaay less yet they got protected but the law of jizya. They could even have tjeir own court and judge according to their own laws without the muslims bothering them

Also, there is racism issue in the Arab community, but that does not mean all Arabs are racist though. There are so many kind anti-racist Arabs. Arab community suffers from colorism so much. I was always a rather brown person and people used to say that im not so pretty because im dark. I am half Palestinian - half Lebanese born in Lebanon ( well because family has been kicked out in 1948 ) , in Lebanon there is so much hate towards Palestinians , that they use colorism to justify it . So I often got the ' why are you not black if your mum is Palestinian " . Which in their mind is an insult . LoL But honestly I never heard of racism within the Palestinian society , my family and the people I know have never been racist . As someone who is white and fell in love with a Palestinian women, which ultimately led to her father not allowing her to speak to me again because of the color of my skin and race, I can confirm from personal experience that racism is a huge problem in the Palestinian community. She comes from a huge family and they are all like that. Now don't get me wrong I'm no saint but, I wouldnt say I'm a bad human. I learned her culture, fasted during Ramadan with her, tried my hardest to learn the language and even started to find my faith. Just kinda sucks that I was judged because of my skin and not my character. Hopefully things change.

For example; Germans vs Russians, English versus French, South africans versus Zimbabweans etc. Racism is the belief that racial differences produce the inherent superiority or inferiority of a particular race. Two different things. One can be a xenophobe and not a racist and vice versa, and one can be both. Today people incorrectly throw the word racism at everything.

Racism in the Arab world is a very big issue. First time I ever experienced racism was in my birth country Sudan I was around 8 years old by some Sudanese kid around my age because am a south Sudanese mind you that was way before the separation and I carry that with to this day.
