UPDATE (July 23, 2020): Charges will not be filed against the driver of a pickup pulling a horse trailer that went through a crowd of protesters May 31 on Interstate 244, Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler announced Thursday.
To the contrary, Kunzweiler called on the Oklahoma Highway Patrol to identify the aggressive protesters from video of the incident, because he said, “The individuals responsible should be held accountable.”

I have sympathy for the truck driver. A few years ago, I was stopped by a crowd in Dallas, then people started to attack me and my family, so I took off and drove through the crowd. Never found out what happened, why the crowd was blocking the street but could not just sit there and allow them to attack my family. Don't think any of the attackers were injured when I drove through, but that was not my primary concern at the moment either.

My only concern would be how Law Enforcement would look at the matter. I’d deal with that after the fact, that’s what a good attorney is for.
