Why did not the authorities bring Trump into the courthouse in a helicopter and avoid the circus that would happen anywhere Trump goes. The transport arrangement played right into Trumps hands and probably caused major disruption in the Miami area. @@stillamsyeu It's freakin policy. That guy was extremely lucky. The Secret Service has the legal right to handle volatile situations any way they see fit in accordance with their procedures. If they felt an actual threat of safety to the former president, they would have had the legal authority to light him up. Obviously he was just being a nuisance. Therefore they used polite discretion in this situation. I was just saying that they could have responded quite differently. Unlike regular law enforcement officers, the Secret Service has a more varied legal authority to use deadly force. For example, if the crowd on January 6th did catch up with mike pence, they would have been well within their rights to light them up. And would have done just that legally. Watch the video again only this time pay close attention to the SUV with all the firepower, it's the vehicle when he says, "look at that." There is enough firepower in that one vehicle to reek major havoc on a considerable adversary. They are equipped with enough firepower to handle foreign military attacks.
