Hi y’all! We were having too much fun out there today lol! It was a great dive and I have been needing some new clothes.. so it was exciting to find bag after bag of them in the dumpsters! Cut plywood for the tabletop, screw it on and mosaic a table top. I have done a couple. Get tile sample boards from floor store. It's fun & pretty.

Awesome finds. Kelley when you find t-shirts that are slightly stained maybe you can find someone who makes the jump ropes for the Christmas boxes that are sent out each year. Most churches make them for these boxes.

I haven't read all your comments so I don't know if anyone else has said this but Dawn dishwashing liquid is supposed to be really good for getting oil and grease stains out of clothes since it's a strong de-greaser.

When I find items like the Columbia and Nike that have little stains, I save and wait until I have a good amount and I dye them! Obviously darker colors like navy blue or black, gives it a new life.

You saved some great looking clothes from the trash. I get so upset when people throw away perfectly good clothes instead of donating them. We don’t have enough space to put trash, let alone things that could be donated and recycled. Our earth can’t handle all the dumping of usable things. WOW…lots of great clothing. I always take to thrift store or a donation box. Now I found that There is a pick up from diabetes foundation here in On Canada You just pack up clothing in boxes or bags with ‘D’ on it put it on your porch they will give you a date & time when they will come for pick up. How great is that ❤

I love the portrait of Pilgrim in the background! I wanted to suggest listing some of the clothes in same size bundles on local free groups, so it goes directly to people who need it. Also looking into local textile recycling options for the clothes that can’t be donated.

We ALL appreciate the work you do, it has never occurred to me to throw clothes away. Here in Massachusetts the VVA...Boys & Girls Club.. Goodwill. Salvation Army will all come to you house to pickup furniture, lamps, toys, clothes and usable household goods. There is no reason for all this waste. You may want to look into donating to foster kids clothing centers or banks in your area. Kids show up to homes with the clothes and shoes they have on and that's it. GREAT HAUL

Hi Kelly, for any stains that look oil based use baby powder on them. I lay them out sprinkle a bunch of baby powder on and around the stain and let it sit for 24 up to 48 hours. Then I shake it off, put stain remover on it (I use the clorox gel stick) and wash gently on cold. I never dry anything with a stain as that sets it, so when its done with wash I hang to dry. When dry I check for the stain. In my last attempt, I had to repeat the process twice. I think first time I did not let the powder sit long enough. And after two tries it came out completely! It was a $164 originally metallic champagne color lauren raplh lauren cocktail dress...I had only paid $5 for it at goodwill. I now have it listed for $49 on ebay or best offer. I figure with holidays coming up the dress should sell, crossing fingers. Thanks for showing us your finds!

Nice scores today! Kelly, you have lost so much weight (kick boxing?) and you don’t need to wear huge oversized sweatshirts! You need to put smaller sizes in your wardrobe. I am a dd’er too (you inspired me greatly) and the majority of stuff I find goes to the blessing box near my home. Luckily they also accept clothing, shoes, toiletries, candles, home decor, perishable foods and pretty much anything they can give away. I donated a bunch of golf clubs to them and they sold them at a resale sports store. Whatever they sell goes directly into helping fund the blessing box. I have also lost a lot of weight and all of my clothes and shoes come from dumpsters now. I have a fantastic wardrobe. I had to replace pretty much everything. I went from a size 14/16 to a 4/6, so literally nothing fit. Please tell us about your journey losing weight and getting healthier if you are comfortable discussing it.

Awesome haul .... can't you bag up the stained items and find someone to reuse it? Ask around on social media for some one to reuse the material. Like I reuse stained and torn tshirts to make rugs.

The unusable clothes can be donated to places that bale them up and send them off to be ground up and treated to fireproof then it is blown into new houses for insulation. We have blown in insulation in our new addition that is this type of material. Happy Thanksgiving you two!
