Great and fun video. The Clapton "wonderful tonight" song did it for me. Played that at my senior party with my band at the time. Great memory.

Went camping at Grand Canyon September 2016. We were at the RV park near the market. We stayed there 3 days and enjoyed it on our way back east from our 3 weeks in Yellowstone. You make awesome videos.

@@Kadenventures We we’re there in May and June. Yellowstone Lake was still frozen when we first got there but it was thawed out when we left. If you plan on staying in the campgrounds reserve early. We went in May and June in our RV because that’s when we could get a reservation, but we have been there during all seasons.

@@susie3893 Awesome! Thank you for the info. We dont have an RV but we'll have to check the campgrounds for availability or check for any dispersed camping options. Surprised the lake was still frozen in June!

Thank you for the video and information! I Camped at the coordinates on Coconino Rim Road November 7th 2022 , after watching this. I concur that it is a very nice spot. Big Safe Fire pit area. Flat ground. Easy firm road. Quiet area. Surrounded by trees. Many places to put a tent/trailer. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Disclaimer: The local wildlife Animals are not Shy. I seen 3 huge Elk Deer 20ft away from my car. I would be reluctant to bring a Dog here.

Now that the weather is so hot, where to next? Love that Vegas is close enough to many attractions within 4-5 hour drive.

I've been thinking about this alot! i've heard good things about Cedar City and Brians Head area up north in Utah which is only about a 3 hour drive so I think that may be next on our list during these summer HOT days, do you have any suggestions??
@rvlife13 жыл бұрын
@@Kadenventures that area is nice. Everyone usually goes to Duck Creek this time of year. Navajo Lake is not bad to camp at which is right by Duck Creek. If you want something more out of the way and not the typical beaten path, do a search on ancient bristlecone pine Forrest. Many areas to camp there
@Kadenventures3 жыл бұрын
@@rvlife1 Thank you! I appreciate the info, I've heard of Bristlecone but will definitely need to do more research. These hot days don't end until about November ish so theres a lot of time between now and explore cooler camp areas! Appreciate the suggestions!

@@Kadenventures we were there 7 days ago. Weather was cool and very dog friendly. Check the forest service website for info and try to make it there when the visitor center is open. Of course try to find the Methusela Tree. Been in Vegas since 2004. Many areas to explore.

I am heading out there for two nights in a couple weeks. I have a desert view campground reservation one night and am going to do BLM the other. I almost want to just cancel the desert view reservation because it looks pretty sweet and easy out there. Thoughts?
@Kadenventures Жыл бұрын
I think it depends on what time your going to get out there, I like knowing where I’m going to sleep if I’m coming in late at night so you don’t have to worry about where to sleep. The campground is convenient for sure and then u can explore for some blm the following night 👌🏽🏕 safe travels out there and have a great time!

Hey man, awesome video! I just had one question and I wasn’t sure after my research.. Did you need to get any kind of a permit to camp?

Hey Josh! Not in that particular dispersed camping area you didn’t need a permit. I know what your talking about though some public lands in AZ need a permit but I haven’t camped in any of those areas yet

I'm from California we are planning to go down there but we really want to camp I know you said to camp here is free but someone mentioned to me we have to buy a permit for the night is that true?
@Kadenventures Жыл бұрын
I've heard of certain areas in AZ where you need a permit but i think its AZ State lands? This particular area we dispersed camped outside the park did not require us to have a permit (at least not that we saw from any signage driving into the area). I just did a quick google search "No permits or fees are required for dispersed camping in Arizona's National Forests." I did another search regarding camping permits in AZ and this came up "The only two areas where you need a permit to camp in Arizona is on State Trust Land and on Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge." www.boondockersbible.com/knowledgebase/do-you-need-a-permit-to-camp-in-arizona/ Hope that helps. Thanks!
