In another life I would be right there with you boys, as I absolutely love this kind of stuff. A motorcycle accident put me in a wheelchair when I was 19, so getting stuck in the woods with no other means of mobility (can't walk out) to get myself out is not an option. I've done some camping in the snow a few times while snowmobiling when I was young, able-bodied, and very strong. It was fun, and I was able to cope with the cold with the help of a bon fire, some high strength booze, and a military grade thermal sleeping bag. Keep in mind, this was almost 40 years ago. With all the camping technology you can buy these days, you don't need to "rough it" so bad if you don't want to, and be toasty warm in a good quality tent. Keep up the good work guys. I'm there with you in spirit. 👍

Really sorry to hear that bud. Winter wheeling is its own animal! But there is totally soo many cool equipment out now for winter camping. It makes it a lot easier. I hope you find a way to experience and explore in your future. Thanks soo much for following along with us!

@@beardedboggers Do you have a full time axle shaft on the passenger front? The intermediate shaft is a weak point on these 2nd gens. The vacuum actuator isn't the best design I have posi lok, but all that goes away if you have a full time axle shaft.

@@beardedboggers This is why the first gens prevail offroad compared to the 2nd gens because they have the older style locking hubs which is more heavy duty. Just have to get the right setup for the 2nd gen not sure if it has the Dana 44 being a half ton, but the Dana 60 is practically indestructible offroad if you get it set right.

@@beardedboggers 12psi is about what I run for rock crawling. For snow if you can get it down to 5 and lower it makes a huge difference but that all depends on wheel and tire setup and what type of terrain you’re in.
