Poles on the inside of the tent? Seems a bit strange. Cool concept going up like that though! Glad they have the bathtub flooring like my Napier. So many do not. I prefer the flooring. I might have to get this and check it out. What's your pros and cons on this tent?
@oldsouthernpine9 ай бұрын
That ridge pole serves the same purpose as the sleeved ridge pole on the Napier tent, it’s just a little easier to put in, in my opinion. I have a Napier truck tent as well and I love them both. I’d still recommend trying this Pittman tent! It definitely sets up in a fraction of the time. It feels sturdier when I set it up on the ground and lift it in. The way the Pittman tent is made, you don’t need the rain fly unless it’s really coming down. The zippers all have rain gussets to them so even in some rain you’re still protected. The one con, don’t get your fingers mashed in the easy up hubs, like I did. Both are awesome tents but that’s my thoughts. Thanks so much for watching and reaching out!

@@PatMcGuriman I’m no expert but, from my experience, a hammock like Cocoon Outdoors or OneWind, a hammock hot tent like OneTigris, Pomoly or OneWind and a titanium folding wood stove like Danchel Outdoors TS6 are great ways to go. They work really well, are comfortable and don’t take up a lot of room. You’d also want a good hammock under quilt. I’ll leave a link to a video I recently did below, in case you’re interested.
