Truck unloader at Portland Vic Australia - Australian Trucks

B-doubles semi trucks are unloading wood chips at the Port of Portland Victoria Australia.
Trucks are not locked in position with any shackles or chains, Trucks don’t roll back because there is a large steel barrier behind them.
takes about 10mins to unload each truck.

Hi. Thanks for uploading this video. How does the material flow from the front trailer, through the rear trailer of these B-doubles? Also, do you have any idea of the capital investment made to build this truck unloader?

there like tailgate on the rear and front of the 2 trailer they open up when the trailers as pushed together, you can see it open about 1min into the video. dont know the cost to build it

First time I seen how these get emptied and not being rude but for the drivers sake you got to have your witts with you at that height and safety wise with the driver in the cab at that height.

Drivers are not in the cab but would have to make sure you don't leave your coffee in the cab
