Honda “trucks” don’t have wheel wells, so that would work. But I ain’t messing with my wheel wells etc on my Tacoma! What do you mean by “minor alterations”? I don’t get it.

That's pretty sweet. But what does that 400 lbs do to your already low fuel economy.

the effect is minimal, compared to the weight of the truck + the gear that you already carry another 400 pounds doesn't really make a noticeable difference. driving an older full size truck means you just accept the fact that your mpgs are gonna suck no matter what.

depends on the engine, truck, etc, bigger v8s like in Fords F-Series Dodges Rams (uses a Cummins inline 6 not to be confused with a v6) and Chevys Silverados are more efficient when they have a load as its how they’re designed to be, while like Tacomas Rangers Dakotas and Colorados are designed to be used like cars but with bigger v6 engines so you can tow and haul smaller loads but with them they’re more efficient when you’re using it like a car vs using it like a truck.

try to hot wire a truck while an alarm is going off, you can hear for miles in quiet woods, you dont hear your car alarm in the woods to often. even worse if its in a parking lot.
