Can't fault you for going home. I broke two of my ribs on the right hand side in a moto X race the day before I took my class 1 test. Needless to say I failed on the reversing manoeuvre. There was no way I could turn to watch myselfback. But I re-took it one week layer and passed.

Not all managers are completely stupid Jay, I started my career at the very bottom and over the last 35 years I worked my way up the ladder so to say, used to hold daily meetings with staff to go through what was needed etc and to ask and see if they had and issues that needed to be raised. I then fed these up the chain of command at my weekly meetings I would then communicate back to staff. My door was never closed.

Don't forget to put it int accident book. But they will say it was your own fault. They always try n blame the driver. I missed a hand rail getting out my Actros. Christ that hurt. That was in March . Still not firing on all cylinders. Rest is what you need. Good luck lad.

You know You've done the right thing as that rib will get worse before it gets better and trying to hang out of that cab backing up can only prolong Your recovery time .Having just got over a heavy fall ,I speak from experience . .Thanks for the video however .

I'm new to the hgv scene after being a painter and decorator for 6 years( which is not the job for me ) while saving to do my tests and house etc . But I say your one of the best youtubers . @@MsWagons i have mate and I know what it all is about as my 3 best mates are hgv drivers , my 2 uncles and also my father in law. Work doesn't bother me one bit worked since I was 13. As for the money its far better than my minimum wage I get now, for just as much graft and stress. There's ups and downs to every job I appreciate that but we can't have everything can we lol And also your job sounds like alot of away work, literally non of my friends and family spend that much time away, couple nights a week and maybe odd week here and there.

Hope your feeling better. Industrial accident, make sure it’s recorded. That trailer must have been like that awhile, so don’t think much of your colleagues it should have been reported before and also picked up on inspection.
