I had a similar situation with a car warranty. Long story short, I had to pay out of pocket upfront and then take them to small claims court. Judge instantly ruled in my favor once I showed proof of repairs. Unless you get a bad judge, 99% will rule in your favor. Also, I did this based on the advice of an attorney fwiw so the laws in your state my be different.

I find it very awesome how the European vs American trucking world is so different. the trucks in Europe are smaller and have a flat nose and u don't own your own trucks at least for most drivers. Usually u just get a truck from your company and u put your card into a machine and drive it until u are finished.

Hey buddy are you sure its the head? let me know reason I ask is those heads are rare for them to go out ofcourse theres still "warranty" but just let me know I understand you cant afford it, but im a mech, I see alot of O/O get screwed for misdiagnosis im just curious how the diagnosis went, because if i was the mechanic, I would put 30PSI through the CAC and unbolt all valve rockers to make SURE 100 % theres no leaks thats the way you would find out if it was the turbo, valve guides, or worse piston rings but just a word of thought enjoy all your vids let me know if you need any help! Cheers!
@TruckerAK4 жыл бұрын
thank you for the help! Well the thing is when we took the turbo off there was no oil in the turbo nor the flex pipe where it normally leaks at idle the only place we saw oil was when we took the manifold off and on the valves themselves thats why i think its the head personally
@shadowrunlover4 жыл бұрын
Ooohk I see, another question, might seem stupid but what viscosity oil are you running? Reason I ask alot of backyard mechanics down here recommend mystik oil "because supposedly its thicker and its better for long mileage engines to close up the gap for worn rings" look it up i think its 15-50 or something like that but had a guy once come into my shop recently overhauled detroit DDEC V to be exact with EGR the mechanic he took it to broke it in with 15-50 mystik well after 15k miles he was still burning oil and getting unusual amounts of blowby, was traumatized well long story short changed the oil to recommended visocity, in the manual it says 15-40 doesnt matter what brand just has to be 15-40 put a lucas in there and stopped burning oil and blowby went away I was amazed thats when I learned its real important what oil you use especially detroits they are real sensitive about that dont mean to be up in your business but just curious lol its part of being a better mechanic evolving and always learning, and of course to help people out, hope you get it going, thanks!

I dont understand I am a lease purchase and my frieght hasn't stopped and is still paying very well mega carriers have all the frieght and contracts that protect our rates I'm averaging 1.84 per miles after they take the cut from it ... I did pull 2 loads last week at 1.24 but they gave every driver 600.00 two weeks in a row so it all worked out , if they give me a load that pays low on the board they will add 100.00 or what ever to keep you at a good rate . I have had zero issues during this pandemic involving freight
