to bad that brits childhood home is going to be gone, i always thought my childhood home would be my forever home, but things happen and things change. after my dad passed away, my mom kept it a few years, but it was really to big for one little old lady, ,so she sold it, i can not even drive by there anymore, the people that bought it have let it go to hell, breaks my heart

I have a question, Josh. I want to preface this by saying I'm not a trucker. I've heard that quite a few truckers prefer to haul an empty trailer rather than bobtail. Is this true? And why? I'm genuinely curious. I'm Andrew. Thanks for the info about sealed boxes and movers. I currently live in a studio apartment. But when I move this time I plan to hire movers. Last time it was a Penske van (my Dad rented it since I don't drive), my parents, brother, and sister-in-law (in-law for documentation only). It was quite chaotic and stressful. I was moving out our parents' (my bother and I have the same parents who are still married to each other) home. Ironically ... the house we grew up in. They still live there. I also call both places home. I moved in May of 2021. I live roughly six and a half miles west of Momma and Dad. So, fifteen to twenty minutes of driving give or take. We're in Fairfax County, Virginia. Josh is correct about the traffic in the DC area. It's nobody's friend. A Christmas tree is something I want. But I don't have much of an area for it. Or to store it when the season is over. But I might leave it up. I'm getting quite comfortable not caring what the majority of people think about me.
