It's like having someone staring at you all day while you are trying to work. It's distracting. Then the person is criticizing you throughout the day, saying you are distracted. In reality, the person criticizing me all day long is just pissing me off, and being pissed off is way more distracting than glancing down to pick up my water bottle, which I am adult enough to wait until there is no traffic to do that, because I am a professional.

These are valid points. I feel in reality the company doesn't have the interest or the man-power to review these devices or listen to the live. I'd be pretty concerned if the company started using AI to review them or to live monitor. But short of using AI, companies don't have time to spy on you. You have valid points though. They don't go on deaf ears.

So I’m a licensed Pest Control technician totally different industry I know, but I’m going into trucking as per most my family already is, but I wanted to say we’ve had to use them for the last three years. It’s one camera and it captures the outside and the other side of the camera captures the inside facing me now I know you can see through the back window on our vehicle, but it also gets side of the vehicle and I honestly don’t think that unless they’re absolutely perverts at Prime but they want to sit there and watch you 24 seven or watch you do your business in the back of your bed and if you really must speak to your significant other in such a way, it’s for your security, if somebody breaks into your truck they’ll be able to see who it was. God forbid you accidentally caused an accident and Your cell phone fell and you reached down to grab it and you caused an accident; just an example, but they’re not always a bad thing. Everybody looks as it being a bad thing, but it’sreally not. And if you’re not doing anything, you’re not supposed to you have nothing to worry about. If I see it, give him something to talk about what you’re supposed to do and if you must have those conversation with your significant other and they just happen to hear it. Well then they’re getting an ear or if your spouse is with you driving with you, they’re coming with you give him a show. Always use it to your advantage!!

🙂 Inward facing camers are admissable in Court, so all lawyers, and the judge, and the whole Jury will be able to watch the video to come to a verdict to Convict You

🙂 when Troopers pull you over, or Weigh Stations pulls you in for an Inspection, I imagine that they can pull up your video feed to see if they can Ticket you for something, chaching 😸🚛

I worked for prime for 8 years no accidents , they told me i could work til the 30th of December but when i told them i didnt want the Cameras they let me go lol that was a week ago 😂😂😂😂

Rule #1 Never give 2 weeks notice I work for prime for 4 years as soon as i return the truck they told me i cant go to Prime Terminal without a security WTF i gave 4 years heart and soul to Prime this is how you treat your vEt driver

Prime could’ve at least special ordered these and had the microphone removed from the device. Yet they didn’t.. they claim they are not using the microphone yet there is a built-in microphone in the device. And yes, it’s true these netradyne cameras are capable of being watched live. I even called netradyne and they told me.

Yes, they will be in every truck, but that doesn’t mean that every carrier is going to go with driver facing cameras. Different systems operate differently.. For instance , Pam, transportation decided to go with only forward facing. No driver facing.. no driver facing micromanaging. No footage for a lawyer to nitpick on what you were doing.. So this needs to be addressed when people say well. Every truck is gonna get one. . Yeah but not every truck is gonna get a driver facing one.

Yeah there is alot not right about this. I came to Prime with my CDL in July. I dont want them to use these cameras and fk up my hard work. Im probably out when i take home time in January. Its too much. Being a trucker comes with certain things. This is not a govt mandate. I wake up and leave underwear on the bed. U pull up and cant get inside in time to go restroom u have to use a bottle, the camera is still recording. Anyone who says its not about privacy needs a head examination. If u wanna police bad drivers fire the ones who get tickets and shit. Simple

Green light ( right one for inward) stayed on for 11min after i stopped and parked and was in sleeper birth. Should of went off after 5min but this time i counted 11 lol. Thought that was a lil abnormal. I assumed they were looking. I even verified this by looking how long i was parked amd in sleeper on my tablet
