It’s better to go to SFI, Lone Mountain, HEC leasing and others. If your at your last few payments and get fired for that camera just look at all the money you lost because you can’t take the truck to another company. We gotta stop covering for these megas man the only drivers that should be behind a camera are new drivers and drivers that are accident prone. Other than that outward facing cameras are better

Yes, you can block the camera when you are in your personal break, but when you are driving, they want to see your driving habits. We don't have cameras at crete. Unless you get some kind of violations. But only for 3 months. Then they take it away. Personally, i have my own camera facing outward for my own protection 😂😅😂😂

Peterbilt will always ride smoother. But at the end of the day I chose the freightshaker because it is ultimately a tool. Reliability and serviceability are the priority. You forgot I70 from the indiana border To Indianapolis. That will certainly break a regular car😂

i dont mind the outwards facing camera. Every truck should have one in my opinion That is for the safety of the driver. However i absolutely HATE the inward facing camera. it has nothing to do with safety. its purely an insurance thing to gather evidence against the driver (if anything happens). There is absolutely NO reason to have the inward facing camera and personally this is a deal breaker for me. Rob Lowe promised no cameras years ago but here we are. So i feel like there is no incentive to stay at prime at this point. Either way, good vid. keep up the good work

And before they asked people to volunteer Rob, Steve and a few others tried several different cameras in their personal vehicles. But show me proof that this has been tested in trucks for years as you said, “and all the while”.

I had a camera in my truck and didn't really like it, but lived with it. One morning at 2AM I was involved in an accident that wasn't my fault. A 4 wheeler driver passed me driviñg pretty fast drifted off the freeway hit a wall lost control then headed in the wrong direction came toward me and hit me head on. It was a real bad accident. I told the cops that I had a camera. That camera cleared of everything. It caught me yawning just before the car hit the wall. They saw me making all the right moves to attempt to avoid the car without hitting other cars. That camera saved my butt. I was cleared of any wrong doing .The Mack truck I was driving was totaled. The driver in the car didn't make it.

When you’re a lease driver there is no fuel economy bonus. Fuel suggestions are the cheapest fuel in route 99% of the time. You are still free to fuel where you choose. It is based off your average fuel economy. There will be times when you can make it further to a cheaper fuel stop if there is one. Or there will be times when it sends you out of route to where the excess miles balance out the fuel cost savings. At that point is up to the driver.

The camera is most likely for accidents only. Most cameras activate (records or saves footage) when an event happens, sudden or heavy brake applications, tailgating, speeding, blowing the horn, etc. They are not going to be watching the cameras like it is a tv. Waste on manpower in the personnel department.

Way our cams were had to get a red light event then some other company reviewed it then sent to my company if i did something most i got were from where interstate had been widened and it thought i was speeding on the frontage road lol. I did have a jackazz in Houston cut me off and brake checked me on purpose which triggered one but did not go against me they seen what happened.
