While in U.S. many signs spell out what they mean (yield, one way, no passing etc.), in Europe symbols are used due to language barriers between various countries. The sign with a red and black car silhouettes means a no passing zone. A continuous line on 2-way road also designates a no passing zone, but a dashed line indicates that passing is allowed. Watch out for upcoming traffic tough. This is common in most if not all EU countries.

22:20 i think there is a MOD for nurbering but not sure for basic profile here in ETS i use sound fixes,realistic fuel prices,real companies gas stations & billboards and day_night_time_v2

Gotta recommend JazzyCat's vehicle skin mods. Not on workshop but having a bigger variety of the cars/trucks you bump into on the road makes a huge difference.

Better roads for old maps. It changes the road texture to look better in older parts of the maps. That's a good mod. Works well with promods too

You can get icons and no roadblocks same mods as ATS. The Scania emblem is a griffin The symbol of the region Scania in Sweden. Saab cars has the same symbol.

The engine you have in the current truck uses exhaust brake. Praha is Prague 😂

Zagreb is one of the towns in WB, capital of Croatia 11:00 the driving laws are pretty similar, mainly just differences in gross weights, lenght, height etc. Most used is just normal 4x2 truck with 3 axle semitrailer at 40 tons /H 4 meters L 16.5 meters 12:40 Petrol is more of a british term for gasoline, depends on the country, we in Finland call it Benzin if translated to english Diesel is just diesel and theres also the red diesel (fuel oil etc.) for agricultural uses...😅 13:34 Your Scania has an exhaust brake due the OHV design, the new SUPERs from Scanias now have engine brake with DOHC (the V8 still retains the old design), the logo is called Scania Griffin and is more of an eagle MAN Trucks (Said as M.A.N and not MAN truck has a lion in their logos [Also sister company of Scania since 2021 more or less]) 14:27 Dotted line is normal, overtaking allowed, dual solid is overtaking forbidden (also the sign with red and black car says the same thing) And if theres 2 lines, one dotted and one solid, the side that has solid tell that you shouldnt overtake and it warns that no overtaking zone is coming up Here in the north the lines are white and/or yellow due the snow and ice but they are now painting the lines only white to be more one-to-one with rest of the EU 15:13 the line changes and white sign with diagonal stripes tells that no-overtaking zone ends 16:20 junction areas and probably in this case the roadworks lowered the speedlimit down to 50 (some countries have it set 50 or 60, if you cross the border the big sign says the common speed limits in towns, highways etc, so check them out next time) 19:30 the ZF 16-speed is in atleast the DAF, M.A.N and Iveco trucks Scania, Mercedes, Volvo, uses their own gearboxes with 12 or 14 speed patterns (Also different to each other, Mercedes uses purely automatics) 20:00 roadworks and you are expected to make space for incoming traffic so both of you fit through at the same time without stopping ideally 22:02 ding ding ding we have a winner, yes Praha is czech for Prague in english, there are many cities that differ in names like Lisboa/Lisbon in Portugal or Torino/Turin in Italy in different languages, might want to turn on "Localized city & country names" and "Show secondary names in map" in Gameplay settings QoL mods for me Sound Fixes in SW Sisl Megapack in SW Icons by DaStrobel in SW

For a basic profile i would use: sound fixes, a graphic mod, true mirror fov, real companies, grims, or grass and 4k tree improved, icons and real traffic density: sadly this last one will make your game crash as soon you enter a new dlc region, but it won't until you go there. And there is an interesting road in the new dlc between "Bijelo Polje to Pristina", really really narrow corners. Last, that sign with a red and a black car means you can not overtake vehicles except motor bikes and vehicles without an engine.

I play ets2 pretty vanilla. Route advisor, sound mod from slav jerry, real companies and then the sisL packs from steam. That's it . *spiral *
